The connecting rod bolts are a part that we have been asked for many times as they are easily damaged when removing and can be prone to stretching. This special bolt has been treated to withstand the pressures placed on it from the rotating assembly and is imperative that only this bolt is used to replace a worn or missing unit. These Genuine Nissan parts are sold as a set of 8 as there are 8 per vehicle/engine (2 per connecting rod)  and the con rod nut should be tightened to 25lb/ft.
