As the Nissan Figaro was never destined for shores outside Japan, the vehicle was equipped with JIS 13mm battery terminal posts common in Japan as opposed to the SAE 16mm battery terminal posts found in most other countries in the world.  Fitting the correct battery to any vehicle is paramount for its reliability to start and support electrical functions.
