The cooling system of the Nissan Figaro is controlled by a thermostat. The thermostat is designed to open as a predetermined temperature to allow the flow of water around the entire engines’ cooling system to regulate and maintain the perfect operating temperature of the engine itself and is located withing the main thermostat housing on the side of the engine. The Thermostat housing is sealed to the side of the cylinder head using the main thermostat housing gasket.
